Moffat Family Fund

Note: As of May 28, 2026, the Town has received confirmation of awarding. Groups will begin to be contacted immediately.

Thank you to the Winnipeg Foundation and the Moffat Fund, for their philanthropic work! This year they've made another extremely generous donation to our community, with the Town of Fort Frances receiving $101,000 for projects within the community that align with the Moffat Family Fund purposes.

The Moffat Family Fund’s primary goal is to support and advance the economic, social, physical and intellectual well-being of children and families, consistent with the vision and mission of the Moffat Family Fund.

What makes a good application?

• Clearly aligns with the Moffat Family Fund's primary goal of advancing the economic, social, physical, and intellectual wellbeing of children and families.
• Minimizes administrative fees to ensure the greatest possible impact of funding.
• Demonstrates thoughtful consideration of the total funding available and the needs of other applicants within the Town.
• For previous recipients, includes the completion of all required reporting documentation.

Applications are closed. Please keep an eye in early 2027 for the next round of applications.

  To be completed by successful recipients no later than the following January 30th.

2025 Recipients are to have their final reports in no later than January 30, 2026.
